Structural steel is the frame your whole project hangs on. J&M fabricates and sets building frames, beams, columns, and connections for general contractors across the Central Coast — and because we self-perform the erection with our own cranes, one team carries your steel from shop drawing to set frame.
WHAT WE DO
J&M handles the CSI Division 05 12 00 structural steel scope: moment frames, beams, columns, base plates, and connections, including architecturally exposed structural steel (AESS) where the steel is part of the finished look. We fabricate from the approved, engineered construction documents. As code requires, our detailing partners produce the fabrication-level shop drawings, those go to the engineer of record for approval, and only then do we cut steel. Every weld meets AWS D1.1, verified by an independent Certified Welding Inspector.
